GIGABRIGHT(TM) gallium nitride, high-brightness LED dies range from 445nm to 475nm. They produce 5 candela at 20mA forward current, when using 5mm, 15 deg viewing angle package. Units have layers of reflective metals combined with sapphire substrate to maximize light extraction efficiency of device. Applications include mobile phone backlights, specialty lighting, and electronic signs.
