North American PCB Sales Growth continues at slow pace.

According to- monthly North American Printed Circuit Board Statistical Program, slow sales growth continued in November and bookings bounced back, but book-to-bill ratio slipped below parity to 0.98. Total North American PCB shipments increased 0.4% in November 2015 compared to November 2014. Year-to-date shipment growth remained at 0.4%. NEMA Business Conditions Indexes retreat in December.

NEMA’s Electroindustry Business Conditions Index for current conditions in North America fell to 41.2 in December as a larger share of panelists reported conditions deteriorated than reported they improved. December's reading represented a substantial decline from November’s reading of 58.3. Meanwhile, EBCI for future North American conditions slipped to 52.9 in December from 55.6 in November.

NTSB opens public docket on sinking of cargo ship.

As part of its continuing investigation into the sinking of the cargo ship El Faro in the Atlantic Ocean, NTSB has opened the accident docket and released underwater images and video of the vessel.
