Operating in temperatures from -55 to +125°C, PLT series precision thin film resistors are made of corrosion-resistant, stable film and offer performance characteristics of 500 ppm at +70°C for 10,000 hr. They are available in 0603, 0805, and 1206 case sizes, with resistance range from 250 W to 100 kW. Noise rating is less than -30 dB, voltage coefficients are 0.1 ppm/V, and power ratings are from 150-400 mW at +70°C. Units are available with lead-free or lead terminations.

Constructed to minimize effects of stress factors and humidity, VHP100 hermetically sealed Bulk Metal® Foil resistor provides tolerances to ±0.005% and load-life stability of ±0.005% typ for 2,000 hr at +70°C and 0.3 W. Standard resistance range of 100 x to 150 kx, and other values are available upon request. Difference between Max and Min resistance values will not deviate by more than 60 ppm over -55 to +125°C range. Thermal stabilization time is under 1 sec, and rise time is 1.0 ns.

Sensing range can be set by user at 15 or 30 m, and receiver can be powered by 12-24 Vac/dc. Unit contains SPST relay output for normal door/gate operation and separate SPST output for low-battery alert. Mechanical alignments are flexible due to lenses that can be adjusted vertically and horizontally.

According to EDTA, NHA, and USFCC, comprehensive approach to advancing transportation and clean energy technologies embodied in FY 2010 Energy and Water Development Appropriation is best way to assure that nation ends its dependence on imported fuels and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Bill allocates $311 million to vehicle electrification and advanced combustion systems, $220 million for advanced biofuels, and $283 million for hydrogen and fuel cells in all applications.
