U.S. EPA and U.S. Department of Justice announced that Durand Glass Manufacturing Company Inc. in Millville, NJ has agreed to install emissions controls on its 3 glass furnaces that will reduce more than 173 tons of nitrogen oxides and 23 tons of particulate matter per year. Durand also installed monitoring systems that will allow it to continuously measure its NOx emissions, and agreed to pay $300,000 civil penalty to resolve violations of the Clean Air Act. Read More
