HCS Series High Current SMD Shunts Offers 1206 Chip Size Down to 0.3 Milliohms



RALEIGH, NC  – Stackpole has expanded its popular HCS series high current shunt chip resistors to now include a 1206 size part rated at 2 watts. The HCS Series combines an elevated resistive element to lower the induced heat on the PCB with low resistance values down to 0.3 milliohms to achieve this outstanding performance. The HCS1206 has low TCR ranging from 150 ppm to 300 ppm for high accuracy even at high temperatures.



The HCS is designed to handle and operate at high temperatures; it is rated for full power up to 100 degrees C and can operate safely at reduced power up to 170C.
