Cryofab Says Green Is Cool

Cyrogenic container company furthers its eco-friendly manufacturing goals by increasing energy efficiency in its design and manufacturing facility.

Kenilworth, NJ - April 6, 2010 - Cryofab, Inc. announced a new phase in its ongoing commitment to the environment. The first step in the energy-efficiency initiative was installing thermal pane windows, resulting in an immediate energy savings.

Vincent Grillo, Co-President of Sales, explains: "Reducing our energy use with increased efficiency and new technologies benefits the environment, the community and our customers. Cryofab is committed to being a good corporate citizen of Kenilworth and beyond. Our customers can be assured their purchase supports an environmentally-conscious manufacturing process."

Cryofab currently recycles waste metals from its manufacturing operation including steel, stainless steel, copper, and brass. A particular focus is the efficient recycling of aluminum. Included in the recycling program is oil and cardboard.

To improve the safety of our operation for our employees and community, Cryofab has virtually eliminated chlorinated solvents, using more eco-friendly aqueous types.

Plans to increase energy efficiency using solar energy systems are underway, as is an exploration of high-efficiency lighting. Wood recycling is being explored to further reduce Cryofab's environmental impact.
