American Green Technology® Appoints New VP HRMS

South Bend, Indiana – American Green Technology® (AGT) has hired Sepand (Sep) Moshiri to lead the sales operations of AGT’s HRMS division starting immediately.  Sep brings with him a wealth of experience in a distinguished 16 year career in business development, sales and strategy management, operations management and government relations within the pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, medical innovations and venture capital/capital markets industries.

“I am excited about Sep joining AGT to focus on the HRMS product,” said Danny Bogar, CEO of AGT.  “Sep will be headquartered in Houston, Texas, home of the Texas Medical Center, which is the largest medical center in the world.  I am glad to have Sep join our company to represent our product locally in Houston; as well as nationally.”

According to the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), Healthcare-associated Infections (HAIs) are major causes of morbidity and mortality in the United States. A growing proportion of these infections are due to resistant pathogens such as methicillin–resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Based on a large sample of U.S. acute care hospitals, the CDC HAI prevalence survey found that on any given day, about 1 in 25 hospital patients has at least one HAI.

AGT’s Health Risk Management System (HRMS) has been clinically proven to eliminate MRSA to 99.8%. This patented lighting system offers 24/7, unobtrusive protection against dangerous HAI-causing pathogens. Recently a genomic analysis was conducted to prove the HRMS’ efficacy against the Middle Eastern Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) virus.  The analysis showed that the HRMS would be highly effective in eliminating the MERS virus, as well.

“I’m thrilled to begin my adventure for AGT,” said Sep Moshiri. “This is clearly an innovative organization dedicated to eradicating costly and deadly HAIs, consuming our facilities across the continuum of care from neonatal ICUs to same-day surgery centers.  I am committed to leading AGT’s vision to ensure that core components of infection control are in place at the local, regional and national healthcare setting levels, leading to significant reduction in mortality and financial losses.”

Sep previously worked for Pfizer, Inc., Coloplast Corporation (formerly Mentor Urology), Pegasus Biologics and Wellrich & Associates. He is active in his community, serving as the VP on the board of directors for The Arc of Greater Houston and participating in the Partnership Development Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters.  A Vanderbilt University honors graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Sep also holds a Master in Business Administration with highest honors from University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business.
