The functional aspects of easy-to-use tools for analyzing thermal characteristics of components, assemblies, materials and the economy of the Compix Thermal Imaging systems are explained, and the benefit of acquiring new techniniques for thermal imaging is studied. The paper provides a better understanding of conversion of PC to a thermal imaging system, and describes the presence of WinTES or WinTES2 software which enables the system to operate as well as manipulate and store the images.
