Carried by release film, FoamTag(TM) consists of .008 in. thick, stainless steel, laser-markable tag atop foam adhesive. Marking of tag is accomplished via low-power CO2 laser printer. Product survives in temperatures to 400°F and liquids typical in machining operations. It is possible to append additional laser markings after tag has been affixed, enabling cradle to grave traceability.
