Model 2286 is constructed of lightweight PyroliteÃ-® with heavy duty wedge gate design and non-rising stem. Inlets and discharges are available in threaded 3, 3 1/2, 4, 4 1/2, and 5 in. or 4 and 5 in. storz. Design provides minimal friction loss (less than 1 psi at 1500 gpm), and meets NFPA slow close requirements. Model 2286 is suitable for use on hydrants, pumpers, and aerial applications.
