New Cloud-Based Analytics Service Measures Employee Use of Phones While Driving
RESTON, Va. -- ZoomSafer, the leading provider of enterprise software to prevent distracted driving, was named one of five finalists in The CTIA WIRELESS BIG Idea Contest, an inaugural competition that recognizes new and innovative concepts for wireless products, applications and services.
5,000-plus mobile industry professionals voted online to choose FleetSafer Vision as one of the five BIG Idea finalists. For the final round of competition, ZoomSafer CEO Matt Howard will make a brief presentation about ZoomSafer's nominated product, FleetSafer Vision, on Tuesday, March 22 at 11:30 a.m. on the Exhibit Innovations Stage at International CTIA WIRELESS® 2011.
A cloud-based analytics service, FleetSafer Vision monitors vehicle driving data (trip information, location, speed, etc.), mobile phone usage (phone calls, text messages, etc.) and other information (email logs, weather, traffic, etc.) to help corporations measure and manage employee use of phones while driving.
FleetSafer Vision empirically measures cell phone use while driving so corporations can:
o Accurately identify risky and safe drivers
o Leverage existing telematics investments
o Reduce crashes, risk, liability and insurance costs
