Dynex pumps use water glycol to lubricate their internal bearings. This design eliminates the potential for cross-fluid contamination, which can occur in other designs requiring a secondary oil for lubrication.
Dynex's water-glycol pumps operate to 15,000 psi (1040 bar). A single-fluid design eliminates the need for a separate lubrication circuit and the cost of ongoing maintenance.
