Xilinx Showcases Solutions for Machine Vision Applications at Vision Stuttgart 2016

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 1, 2016 - Xilinx, Inc. (NASDAQ: XLNX) will showcase its latest solutions for machine vision applications at Vision Stuttgart 2016. Through in-booth demonstrations and paper presentations, Xilinx and its Alliance Program Members will demonstrate integrated and cost-optimized solutions for machine vision developers. Visit the Xilinx Stand 1C82 at Vision Stuttgart 2016, November 8-10, at Messe Stuttgart.

Xilinx and Alliance Program Member Demonstrations – Stand 1C82

  • PicoZed Embedded Vision Development Kit – Presented by Avnet

Running the latest embedded vision SDSoC™ design examples, this kit provides a programming experience to improve productivity for system architecture definition and application development.

  • Machine Learning-based 3D Object Recognition – Presented by iVeia

This demonstration showcases how smart cameras use low power, ultra-compact, real-time 3D multi-object spatial recognition and classification capabilities with machine learning to improve recognition accuracy.

  • LabVIEW FPGA-based 3D Laser Triangulation Image Processing – Presented by NI

In this demonstration, NI's LabVIEW FPGA is used to create custom vision algorithms that increase accuracy using 3D noncontact measurements. LabVIEW FPGA also extends the LabVIEW graphical development platform to FPGAs making it easier for users to develop systems.

  • CoaXPress to GigE Vision Converter – Presented by Sensor to Image

The CoaXPress (CXP) to GigE Vision Converter acquires CXP image data streams from a machine vision camera. This high-speed input is processed in a Xilinx FPGA device converting the stream into a GigE Vision output ready for transport over NBaseT networks.

  • TICO Lightweight Codec for Real-time Transport of Vision and Video Data - Presented by intoPIX

This demonstration highlights a visually lossless, FPGA resource light codec capable of transmitting high-speed and high resolution imaging data with ultra-low-latency including support for mono, raw-bayer or color image data.
