CAS Announces AEMC Simple Logger II ML914

4-Channel AC Current Data Logger with Bluetooth Technology

CHESTERLAND OH - CAS DataLoggers has partnered with AEMC Instruments to announce the new Simple Logger II MiniFlex Model ML914, a 4-channel AC current recording device designed to excel in many applications such as single/split phase and 3-phase monitoring, neutral and ground current monitoring, intermittent problem detection, fault current detection, and load profiling. Wireless Bluetooth capability is enabled through the included Bluetooth module, providing data transfers from internal memory to a PC for analysis. This lightweight and compact data logger includes four integral 6-inch MiniFlex flexible current probes with 0.1A resolution and also offers user-selectable dual measurement ranges of 100 and 1000 Amps.

The Simple Logger II stores TRMS at user-programmable rates of up to eight times per second, with calculations performed on a single line cycle. The ML914 is an effective solution with its ability to handle a variety of recording tasks after fast and intuitive setup from a PC using the free DataView data analysis and reporting software. The device's non-volatile memory stores up to 1,000,000 measurements while its 6 LED indicators quickly and clearly display logger status. Line tracking is performed taking 64 samples per line cycle, while frequency tracking is performed around the nominal line frequency (50 or 60Hz). Harmonic measurements are obtained using these 64 samples and made available from the Simple Logger II control panel, viewable within DataView. Programmable storage rates from 125ms to 1 per day are also featured, as well as 4 user selectable storage modes, and the channel logger comes powered by standard alkaline batteries to operate for a full 6 months or more.

The Simple Logger's DataView software enables Wireless Bluetooth communication, convenient data storage, and real-time waveform display analysis & report generation. DataView configures all the device's functions and parameters from PC, including sample rate, recording length, channel configuration and more. Users can also create their own library of configurations for quick upload to the Simple Logger II to design and print out views and reports using their chosen templates. Real-time data is available for display, download and analysis on PC, as well as waveforms, trend graphs, harmonic current monitoring (on AC models), and text summaries.
