Wyse Expands Industry-Leading Support for Multi-Monitor Thin Computing

Wyse Supports New Third Party Display Adapters

SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 24 -- Wyse Technology, the global leader in thin computing, today announced the company has expanded its industry-leading support for multi-monitor computing by qualifying and supporting several new third-party display adapters, providing USB, PCMCIA, and PCI-display expansion options across much of its product line.

The adapters range in price from $59 to $240 and are available from a number of leading vendors, including Matrox, Tritton and Village Tronic. Wyse multi-monitor support also includes integration with Wyse Device Manager to simplify deployment and reduce compatibility issues.

"We first deployed Wyse dual-monitor stations in a new office and found the increased productivity and return on investment so strong that we rolled it out to our other offices," said Bob Short, Senior Network Administrator, Interstate Distributor Co. "With its low management requirements, architectural simplicity and excellent technical support, the Wyse multi-monitor solution helps us drive our business with no headaches."

"Many studies have shown that multiple monitor users work more efficiently," said Bob O'Donnell, Vice President of Clients and Displays, IDC. "Having the right hardware support for multi-monitor computing is a real advantage for many industries."

"Wyse remains focused on offering the industry's most cutting-edge options for thin computing and infrastructure software," said Ricardo Antuna, Vice President of Product Line Marketing, Wyse Technology. "As more businesses deploy multi-monitor solutions to increase worker productivity, Wyse stands ready to deliver the widest variety of options for easy deployment backed by our world-class support team."
