IAC Introduces Two New Laminar-Flow Workstations for Particle-Free Work Areas
BREA, CA-Laminar flow workstations provide dust and particle-free work areas for sensitive testing and assembly. AirClean(TM) Laminar Flow Workstations, now available from IAC Industries, are recommended for any Class 100 requirement that does not produce by-products that can contaminate the worker or production area, such as electronic parts assembly or inspection. AirClean(TM) Flow Stations are offered in both vertical- and horizontal-flow versions. Horizontal-flow benches (pictured) provide the best product protection since the individual using the bench is always downstream of the work area.
AirClean(TM) Laminar Flow Workstations incorporate the essential features needed to meet critical work requirements, including 90 fpm air velocity, HEPA filters to capture particles as small as 0.3 micron, easy-access pre-filters, magnehelic gauge to monitor static air pressure, fluorescent lighting and cleanroom sealed worksurfaces. Fans are centrifugal, direct-drive with static capacity up to 1.2 inches W.G. at rated flow and are mounted on rubber isolators for smooth, quiet operation. A variable-speed control allows users to adjust airflow.
