New Scissor Lift Workstations Increase Productivity
McConnellsburg, PA, April 16, 2004 - JLG Industries, Inc. launches a new series of productivity enhancing accessories to complement the previously launched Pro-Fit(TM) Scissor Lift series. Manufactured as quick-disconnect performance tools, the packages will meet a wide variety of rental applications including use by electricians, plumbers and general plant maintenance personnel. Central to the packages is the JLG® workstation that includes a stowable bench, a 110V outlet for power tools, specially sized compartments for fasteners and connectors, plus tool holders that will accommodate each of a reciprocating saw, hammer drill, pipe bender and circular saw. The JLG workstation is also available with a built-in 12V plug to power customer cordless tool battery chargers. A variety of packages are available with specific tools that more fully integrate the JLG scissor lift into the work process. Plumbers, mechanical contractors, electricians and personnel engaged in general plant maintenance will all value the rail-mounted vise that will be used for threading, cutting or bending pipe or conduit that will be held in the pipe/conduit racks, each a primary component of the Pro-Fit Series scissor lift packages. For more specific applications, packages can be ordered to include the aforementioned plus other productivity enhancing tools including an electrician tree able to support six 500-ft. wire spools for electrical wiring or a hand-held, 200-amp wire feed mig welder for light duty welding applications. These accessory packages are available exclusively from JLG on the Pro-Fit scissor lift series and are extensions of the popular JLG Workstation in the Sky(TM) Series.
