Ergotron Promotes Affordable, Ergonomic Computing With Neo-Flex Mobile WorkSpace for Industrial and Manufacturing Environments

ST. PAUL, MN, (May 24, 2007) - Ergotron, the worldwide leader in video display mounting equipment, is pleased to announce the Neo-Flex Mobile WorkSpace. Designed for manufacturing floors, distribution centers, and any other high-activity, non-office area, the Neo-Flex Mobile WorkSpace transforms any space into a productive computing environment. The Neo-Flex Mobile WorkSpace allows your workflow to be reconfigured as your process, assets and people change.

The versatile design configures for notebooks or LCDs, keeping any type of computer user comfortable and productive. Designed with touch-screen applications in mind, this little gem can instantly become a mobile kiosk. A full 20-inches (51 cm) of Constant Force (CF(TM)) height adjustability ensures any user is capable of ergonomic data entry whether seated or standing, and enables ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility compliance. When used with an LCD, an additional five inches (13 cm) of independent height adjustment and 25° screen tilt benefits all users, including those who wear progressive lenses.

While its extremely small footprint makes the Mobile WorkSpace a perfect fit in many "back office" tight spaces, such as test labs and inspection areas, its durable construction, open architecture and aesthetically pleasing design make it a workhorse for many front office and administrative "surge" activities such as seasonal point-of-sale cash registers and collegiate class registration. It can easily be moved to the temporary point of need and get moved out of the way when the activity is finished.

Additionally, at an MSRP of $799, its low cost makes it an attainable solution for the leanest budget. IT managers no longer have to cobble together their own appropriate cart solution; the Neo-Flex Mobile WorkSpace's versatility is enhanced by its affordability.

"We make material choices that eliminate our worry for environmental contamination," explained Pete Segar, Senior Vice President of Engineering and Chief Innovation Officer for Ergotron. "As a result, our material costs have gone up, yet we have not passed that cost onto our customers. This shows our level of commitment to the environment and enforces our legacy of promoting human health."

"The Neo-Flex Mobile Workspace provides an affordable, stylish platform that is adaptable to any mobile computing application," explained Carole Nickelson, Carts Product Manager for Ergotron. "The versatile design, robust construction and affordable price point are unmatched in the industry."
