Overview
Acoustic features designed to decrease system noise level are
available for the IBM eserver p615 Model 6E3 deskside/desktop server and the IntelliStation® POWER(TM) 275 workstation. These new features include:
o 500-watt power supply with quieter fan for the POWER 275
workstation
o Acoustic front bezel and door for the POWER 275 workstation
o Rear muffler for the p615 Model 6E3 server
Planned availability dates
o February 6, 2004, for feature numbers 3752 and 6264
o March 5, 2004, for feature numbers 6587 and 6588

For the IntelliStation POWER 275:

- Available via MES order on currently installed systems
The new acoustic features for the IBM pSeries 615 Model 6E3 include:
o Rear muffler that adds five inches to the system depth
- Optional on new orders and available via MES order on currently installed systems
