Parlec Adds To Workholding Family with the P-688 Vise
Fairport, N.Y. - January 22, 2004 - Adding to its workholding line, Parlec, Inc. introduces the P-688 vise with the largest jaw opening in its class, nine inches.
Available this March, Parlec's newest vise has an angle-lock design to prevent lifting of the movable jaw and will be priced considerably less than comparable models in the marketplace. The P-688 will have a bed height matched to size 2.875" (73.025mm) +/- 0.0005" with repeatability within 0.001. Improving on industry standards, Parlec's vise provides a more rigid stationary jaw and robust main screw that can handle higher torque loads than current vises in the marketplace.
