Chick Workholding Solutions, Inc. Features System 5 At The International Manufacturing Technology Show
Warrendale, PA (July 11, 2002) -- Chick Workholding Solutions, Inc. will feature a new innovative workholding system - System 5 - at the 2002 IMTS International Manufacturing Technology Show.
The System 5, ideal for use with both vertical and horizontal CNC machining centers, was developed with flexibility in mind. This flexibility includes the largest variety of system sizes, accessories and mounting configurations within the industry.
The workholding systems are available in six sizes ranging from 50mm (2 inch) to 150mm (6 inch). The VMC systems are available in either high strength aluminum (Qwik-Lok) or cast iron (Bi-Lok). The HMC systems (Multi-Lok) are available in configurations consisting of 4-sides up to 8-sides, double stacked. Each system comes complete with high strength aluminum snap on/off machinable jaws that are interchangeable between the VMC or HMC systems. Numerous optional jaw sizes, and other accessories are also available to meet the needs of virtually any workholding application.
The System 5 is also easy to use. Once it is mounted to the machining center, all one has to do is change the jaws for each new job. And, the jaws, which are snap on/off, require no tools.
Each System features a corrosion resistant, stainless steel slide assembly and are completely sealed - meaning they have no exposed bolts or chip traps - which allows for minimum maintenance and longevity.
