WORK Microwave to Demonstrate Powerful Range of Sensor Solutions at Control 2015

HOLZKIRCHEN, Germany — WORK Microwave, a leading European manufacturer of RF electronics and related products, today announced that the company will be exhibiting a broad range of sensor solutions at Control 2015, one of the world's premier trade fairs for quality assurance.

THE NEWS: At Control 2015, WORK Microwave will provide live, interactive demonstrations of the company's surface and flow-through sensors, designed to accurately measure moisture, mass, density; or foreign particles of powder, granules and bulk solids, including food, feedstuff, plastics, wood, glass, metal, and paper.

WHEN: May 5-8

WHERE: Stuttgart, Germany, Stand 1123

WHY: As manufacturers strive to create a product of superior quality, the demanding nature of production lines makes it challenging to do so quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively. WORK Microwave's resonator-based sensor solutions utilize sophisticated microwave technology to measure the influence of material on an electromagnetic field without the use of nuclear radiation. Perfect for demanding in-line applications, WORK Microwave sensors can uniquely handle microwave frequencies of up to 65 GHz at a rate of up to 10,000 measurements per second. By measuring multiple parameters simultaneously from a single sensor device, WORK Microwave solutions dramatically streamline operational workflows.

There will be two types of sensors demonstrated at the booth. The first will be a flow-through sensor with a moisture measurement range of 1 to 15 percent, making it the ideal solution for measuring substances with a low water content, such as grains, granules, powders, pharmaceutical products, plastic particles, tobacco, etc. The second demonstration will show a surface sensor with a moisture measurement range of 5 to 75 percent, suitable for measuring high water content materials such as cheese, paper, and wood. A range of substances will be available at the booth for testing.
