New LED Work Area String Light System Released by Larson Electronics
Industrial lighting leader Larson Electronics has announced the release of a 100 foot string light system featuring LED lighting technology and high durability construction. The WAL-SL-10-LED Work Area Lighting LED String Light is fitted with 10 LED lamps, each producing more light than a 100 watt incandescent bulb, and provides workers with a cool running and versatile lighting system for illuminating large work areas.
The WAL-SL-10-LED work area lighting LED string light from Larson Electronics is designed to provide operators with a high power lighting solution capable of producing more and higher quality light than comparable incandescent string light systems. Each ten watt LED lamp on this set produces more light than a 100 watt incandescent bulb, yet runs cooler and uses only 10% as much power. The light from this set is higher quality as well, with whiter coloration and none of the yellowish tint produced by incandescent bulbs. The entire set consists of ten LED lamps spaced ten feet apart along 100 feet of heavy duty 14/2 SJTW cable. Each lamp assembly consists of a 10 watt LED bulb with standard socket base, integrated hanging hook, and a plastic protective cage to prevent bulb damage from impacts or dropping. Although there are limits to how many sets can be connected together, the lower power requirements of this LED string light means operators can connect more strings together without causing excessive amp loads, or they can simply reap the benefits of higher efficiency and produce more light while using less power than an incandescent string light. These sets are available in 120-277 VAC configurations for use with standard voltages, or can be ordered in 12/28 VDC configurations for low voltage applications. This string light set provides operators with higher quality light output and cooler operation, and the LED design and heavy duty construction provides much greater durability than fragile incandescent light sets.
