Wonderware IntelaTrac Wins Engineering Award for Product Innovation


LAKE FOREST, Calif., Feb. 9, 2009 -- Wonderware, a business unit of Invensys, today announced that Control Engineering magazine has selected the Wonderware IntelaTrac 3.2 for a 2008 "Engineers' Choice Award." Wonderware IntelaTrac was selected by engineers polled by the magazine on products considered the most exceptional based on technological advancement or innovation, service to the industry and market impact.

"As in past years, this year's 'Engineer's Choice' contest drew a heavy amount of voting in each of the 25 categories," said David Greenfield, Control Engineering editorial director. "The high level of recognition and respect among Control Engineering subscribers for Wonderware IntelaTrac 3.2 work process analysis application indicates increasing interest in this category of software and admiration for Wonderware products."

Wonderware IntelaTrac 3.2 will be highlighted in a special supplement which will appear in the February 2009 issue of Control Engineering. Engineers' Choice Award winners were selected by the magazine's subscriber list of more than 88,000 readers, which include industry engineers. Winners were selected from votes tallied for 86 products in 25 categories.

Wonderware IntelaTrac offers mobile solutions that help drive operational excellence for customers. Its configurable software and ruggedized mobile hardware enables workflow, procedural and general task management capabilities typically focused around plant operations, maintenance management, production tracking and compliance applications.
