WonderMedia PRIZM WM8720 SoC Platform Receives Intel® WiDi Ready Certification

Provides OEMs with fast track for the adoption of WiDi technology
Taipei, Taiwan - WonderMedia Technologies, Inc, a leading innovator of energy-efficient, feature-rich SoC (system-on-chip) platforms, today announced that the WonderMedia PRIZM WM8720 has been certified as an Intel WiDi Ready Solution - providing OEMs with a fast track for integrating the technology into a wide range of consumer electronics devices and adaptors.
Intel WiDi allows people to wirelessly enjoy their laptop or desktop PC content on the biggest screen in their home through either an external wireless adapter or an embedded solution that is integrated into a TV or monitor, and a simple Intel based WiFi connection from their computer. Setup is a snap and Intel WiDi Widget allows people to share their screen with the simple push of a button.
