BROOKFIELD, WI - Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp. has announced an agreement with Jervis B. Webb Company to become a value-added reseller (VAR) of Webb's SmartCart(TM) Automatic Guided Carts (AGCs) in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Lift Corp. will supply, install and service Webb's SmartCarts.

SmartCart AGCs are flexible, cost-effective automatic guided vehicles (AGVs) that are ideal for moving products on an assembly line or transporting goods throughout a plant or warehouse. SmartCart AGCs are guided by magnetic tape, allowing for quick installation or modification of the guidepath. In addition, SmartCarts' load handling frames can be customized and replaced to accommodate new products.

"Our SmartCart VARs are really excited about the tremendous benefits that Webb's AGCs can provide for their customer base," said Bruce Buscher, vice president of sales and marketing for Jervis B. Webb Company. "The affordability and flexibility of SmartCarts make them the ideal choice for companies looking to increase productivity while reducing costs."

According to Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp. President Jerry Weidmann, "We are well suited to sell their line of industry leading automated guided vehicles. This makes us the AGV leader in the state."

Wisconsin Lift Truck Corp., one of Wisconsin's largest privately held firms, is a 46-year-old full service material handling company with over 360 employees at its headquarters in Brookfield, its branches in Germantown, Green Bay, Janesville and Wausau and its business partners.
