New Type 1 Screw Cover Wiring Trough Allows Quick Assembly and Easy Mounting
Anoka, MN-April 30, 2003-The new Type 1 Screw Cover Wiring Trough is the latest addition to Hoffman's expanding line of quality products for the Commercial Contractor. Designed for use in indoor environments, the new Type 1 Screw Cover Wiring Trough provides protection and a clear path for power and lighting control cables to locations throughout a building. The product features a unique joining method that attaches end sections without fasteners or heat. This joining method is as strong as riveting or spot welding but doesn't burn or disrupt the galvanized, corrosion-resistant finish.
The wiring trough is constructed of unpainted 16 or 14 gauge galvanized steel, which provides protection against contact with other internal electrical components and against a limited amount of airborne contaminants. Mounting holes on the back, along with the flat cover design, allow the wireway to be quickly and conveniently mounted flush with walls or ceilings. Keyhole screw slots on the flat covers provide easy access to the internal components and allow the cover to be removed without removing the screws. Five cross-section sizes ranging from 4" x 4" to 12" x 12" with lengths ranging from 1 to 10 feet are available immediately and ship completely assembled.
