Pass & Seymour/Legrand® Introduces New Range and Dryer Boxes
SYRACUSE, NY (March 3, 2006) - Pass & Seymour/Legrand (P&S), a leading manufacturer of electrical wiring devices and home systems, today announced its new Range and Dryer Boxes, available in both nail-on or screw-on mount styles.
Large cable entry accommodates #6 or #8 gauge copper or aluminum wire, commonly found in range and dryer applications. Stabilizer legs and a positioning tab maintain device rigidity during plug insertion and removal, and permit the use of a phantom stud.
A bracket countersink allows for mounting with #8 wafer head or wallboard screws with minimal drywall bow, and an internal metallic wire clamp provides dependable strain relief. The Height Site alignment guide centers the box on a reference mark, while box levelers automatically align the device at a right angle to the stud.
