A new, battery powered thermocouple temperature recorder that can operate over a wide temperature range and transmit data instantly up to one mile away is being introduced by MadgeTech, Inc. of Warner, New Hampshire.
The MadgeTech RF TC4000A Thermocouple Recorder & Wireless Transmitter is a portable 2-channel device that can record up to 4,095 readings per channel and display data in real-time while continuing to log. Capable of trans-mitting information to a receiver located up to one mile away using a repeater, this compact device is compatible with all common thermo-couples and provides a N.I.S.T. calibrated accuracy of ±0.5°C (0 to +50°C).
Featuring easy-to-use software, the MadgeTech RF TC4000A Thermocouple Recorder & Wireless Transmitter can be started, stopped, and configured directly from a computer and its small size (0.8" x 1.7" x 2.7") allows it to fit almost anywhere. Reading rates can be set from 1 every 30 seconds to 1 per hour and up to 100 or more of these battery powered transmitters can be accepted by a single receiver, depending upon the reading rate.
