Motorola Introduces Its M2M C24 CDMA Module Certified by Sprint



The C24, with its enhanced features and smaller footprint, will offer an additional choice for those looking to embed Sprint's wireless network technology

LAS VEGAS, March 30 -- CTIA WIRELESS 2009 -- Motorola, Inc. (NYSE:MOT) announced today that it has launched the C24 CDMA wireless module, the latest addition to the M2M wireless modules family. Motorola wireless modules support a wide range of technologies, designed especially for the M2M (Machine-to-Machine) market's unique needs.

The new C24 CDMA 1X module shares the same form factor as the rest of the Motorola wireless module family, offering its customers flexibility with a single design solution. The C24 features an internal TCP/IP stack for easy data transfer, FOTA (Firmware Over the Air) Support and SSL for secure connectivity. In addition, the C24 features on-board multimode GPS, including Autonomous GPS, A-GPS, and MS-Based GPS, making it the ideal choice for location-based wireless applications.
