D Series Magnet Wire Strippers
The D Series Magnet Wire Strippers include the D1, the DV1, and the D9. All units strip round magnet wire from 35 to 16 AWG (0.14mm to 1.30mm diameter); square magnet wire up to 1/4" (6.35mm) and rectangular wire up to 1/4" x 1" (6.35mm x 25.4mm).
The D1 and the DV1 have strip lengths from 3/8" to 2-1/2" (9.5mm to 63mm). The D9 has an offset stripping head that allows unlimited strip lengths and window stripping. The DV1 offers an integral dust collection system to trap insulation residue as it is removed from the wires during stripping.
The D Series Magnet Wire Strippers use FybRglass® stripping wheels to cleanly strip wires with no damage or nicking to the conductor. Wire brush wheels are used for more abrasive stripping when a roughened surface aids in soldering. Wire brush wheels will also remove glass and fabric insulations.
