A new wire harness tool kit that can fit into a pocket, attache, or tool box and features three specialty tools for wire cutting, stripping, and slitting is being introduced by Xuron Corporation of Saco, Maine.
The Xuron TK2300 Wire Stripper Kit features the new model 501 Wire Stripper with a thumb adjustable cam that can be set to accommodate wire sizes from 10 to 26 AWG; the model 2175 Micro-Shear® flush cutter utility tool for harness making; and the model 440 high precision scissors which replaces conventional scissors and knives for slitting all types of cable jacketing.
Ergonomically designed for the proper leverage and to fit comfortably into both male and female hands, each tool has Xuro-Rubber(TM) cushioned hand grips and a Light-Touch(TM) return spring. The Xuron TK2300 Wire Stripper Kit comes in a durable tri-fold nylon fabric pouch with individual pockets to store and protect each tool, two extra pockets for storage and Velcro® closures.
