Lincoln Electric Introduces Two New Push-Pull Guns for Superior Feeding of Aluminum and Steel

Cleveland, OH -- The Lincoln Electric Company announces that two new push-pull wire feeding guns have been added to its extensive product line. These guns include:
o the CobraMAX, a gooseneck torch with an ergonomic design
o the Python, the most advanced gooseneck torch for new and experienced operators

These guns offer superior feeding to virtually eliminate friction in the line for smooth feeding and minimized damage to the wire. They are perfect for aluminum applications using soft wire. Each gun can handle both steel and aluminum wire from .030-1/16".

The CobraMax fixed gooseneck is rated 150 amps at 100% duty cycle making it the ideal solution for low-end applications. For more demanding applications, choose one of the five new Python torches. The Python family offers several options starting with the standard air-cooled Python torch rated 200 amps at 100% duty cycle. The replaceable gooseneck of the Python can be interchanged with the full water-cooled barrel and gas cup combination, to achieve a rating of 400 amps, 100 percent duty cycle.

CobraMAX
With a totally new, balanced and ergonomic handle design, convenient trigger location and three-turn, finger-tip wire speed adjustment the CobraMAX is the ideal gooseneck torch for aluminum welding. The CobraMAX has a flip-up drive roll cover and a quick wire release lever to deliver easy, accurate wire feeding and performance. A 3-turn torch mounted pot allows for easy control of the wire speed right at the work.

Python
The ergonomic handle design, convenient trigger location and three-turn, finger-tip wire speed adjustment make the Python the most advanced gooseneck torch on the market. And with higher amperage capacity than competitor models at 400 amps, 100%
duty cycle and patented push-pull wire feeding, the Python delivers power and arc performance that sets the competition on edge.

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of arc welding equipment and consumables, robotic welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
