Cleveland, Ohio - Destined to become a favorite among fabrication welders, the LF-72 from the Lincoln Electric Company is a value-packed industrial wire feeder for high production shops. The wire feeder features Lincoln's patented rugged 2-roll Universal Wire Drive System for the most dependable, accurate wire feeding on the market.

The LF-72 is available in three models: base model, standard-duty bench and a heavy-duty bench model that can accept up to 60-pound spools. This semiautomatic wire feeder can accommodate .023" -1/16" MIG wire diameters and .035" - 5/64" flux-cored wire diameters at wire feed speeds of 50-800 inches per minute.

Standard features offered at no additional cost to the purchaser are a Lincoln 400 amp Magnum(TM) gun, a 10 foot control cable with new Speed Nut easy handling connector, and .035"/.045"drive rolls. For easy servicing, Magnum guns feature industry-standard replacement parts.

In addition, the LF-72 incorporates Lincoln's patented, best-in-class wire drive and drive roll system made of precision die cast aluminum to provide consistent, reliable and accurate wire feeding requiring minimal servicing. A brass gun fitting provides excellent mechanical contact and also serves as a superior strain relief.

Other features found on the wire feeder include a 2-step trigger interlock designed to reduce operator fatigue on long welds. The calibrated Wire Feed Speed knob, coupled with a tachometer-controlled motor, maintains a steady wire feed speed under changing loads. A convenient top-mounted storage tray allows for storage of contact tips and drive rolls.

The LF-72 is compatible with a host of Lincoln industrial power sources, including: CV-300, CV-400, CV-655, Invertec® V350-PRO, DC-400, DC-600 and DC-655.

Manufactured under a quality system certified to ISO 9001, the LF-72 has a three-year warranty on parts and labor.

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of arc welding equipment and consumables, robotic welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
