Wipe-On Printer Applicator Capable of Speeds of up to 12 Linear Inches per Second
Walnut, CA (Oct. 11, 2002)-A wipe-on printer applicator can now deliver the industry's fastest speeds of up to 12 linear inches per second for in-line wrap and long label applications.
The Model PA4000 from Southern California Packaging Equipment, Inc., is the only wipe-on printer applicator available from a major labeling manufacturer. It comes with a direct drive DC stepper motor, powered rewind, a 6.5" web width, and standard 12" diameter label roll capacity. Under microprocessor control, label placement is accurate to plus or minus 1/32".
The printer applicator can be oriented to any attitude for side, top or bottom placement of a wide range of label shapes and sizes. The PA 4000 is available in wipe-on, tamp-blow and blow-on versions. Each incorporates 50 memory presets for fast product change over and setup.
