Wildeck Releases Impact Test Video to Demonstrate Guard Rail Strength
New video - made public for the first time - shows toughness of Wilgard® Guard Rail for protecting facility equipment and personnel.
Waukesha, WI - January 2008 - To demonstrate the integrity and toughness of Wildeck's comprehensive lineup of safety guard rail, the company has posted a new impact crash test video on its website at www.wildeck.com.
According to Jim Hathaway, Sales Specialist for Wildeck® Guarding Products, "We decided to post the recent Wilgard® impact test video on our website to assist Wildeck's nationwide network of Material Handling Dealers in showing the effectiveness and superiority of Wilgard® safety guard rail. The video replicates Wildeck's original forklift truck impact test performed in January 1989 and reinforces the fact that Wilgard® protective guard rail remains as durable and strong today as it was over 19 years ago."
Wildeck demonstrated that under test conditions (witnessed, signed and notarized by a Registered Professional Engineer), its Wilgard® protective guard rail system absorbed a 13,000 lb. load impact at 4 mph without failure.
