V600ME02-LF - Wideband VCO with Excellent Phase Noise Performance



SAN DIEGO, October 2, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model V600ME02-LF in L-band. The V600ME02-LF operates from 1250-2350 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0-20 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -96 dBc/Hz @ 10 KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 75 MHz/V.

The V600ME02-LF is designed to deliver a typical output power of 8 dBm at 5 Vdc supply while drawing 20 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -5º to 85º C. This VCO comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring only 0.5 in. x 0.5 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The V600ME02-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.
