CTI Electronics Introduces the KIO7000 Series in White for Medical Applications



With its innovative ergonomic design, the KIO7000 NEMA 4 (IP66) series provides superior levels of sealing, reliability, durability, and performance. This series is part of CTI's most recent endeavor in designing state-of-the-art mid-sized industrial and medical-grade keyboards.

These keyboards feature patented button-style OrbitalMouse(TM) pointing devices, the perfect "no drift" alternative to touchpads in a sleek, smart design. Sealing is executed through an advanced design in molded silicone rubber that allows 2mm key travel with an excellent tactile feel. Demonstrating CTI's commitment to excellence, all of our molded rubber keyboards feature a unique coating, which protects against oils and harsh cleaning agents.

In addition, these keyboards have full 101/104 key functionality including a numeric keypad. Innovative component design eliminates vibration sensitivity and dramatically improves durability and long-term reliability. Patented hardware design incorporates components that endure, require no re-calibration, and are capable of reaching temperatures of -40 to 80° C, thus improving durability and performance. Patent pending software technology allows adjustable speed control of pointer through innovative switch capability and with eight speed curve settings for pointer movement, which increases user friendliness and permits a significant improvement in performance.

Optional LED's, available in red or green, enable effortless visual location of key legends and pointing device in low-light conditions. This series is available as an OEM panel mount device or in an aluminum or stainless steel enclosure. Standard interfaces include PS/2 and USB. Meets NEMA 4/4X and IP66/ Standards.
