Convaid Rolls Out Extended Seat Depth Growth to Wheelchair Line
New seat depth extension makes it easier for users and dealers to get more growth out of Convaid Wheelchairs
TORRANCE, Calif.–Convaid, Inc., the industry leader in lightweight, compact folding pediatric wheelchairs, has now extended their seat depth growth range to at least 5 inches to allow for up to five years of growth for their Rodeo, Cruiser, Cruiser Planar, EZ Rider, EZ Rider Planar, Convertible and Convertible Planar wheelchair models, expanding the life of the chairs.
The additional growth eliminates custom modification and allows parents to make growth adjustments themselves, allowing users to use their chair for several years.
Adding growth to the chairs can be achieved by replacing the original set of seat tubes with a longer set that is included in the initial standard wheelchair purchase. Exception is the Rodeo, which will come with 1 tube that is suitable for 5 years of growth.
