October 31, 2002 - ITW Fluid Products Group, Inc., Glenview, Illinois introduces a new Universal Wheel Skimmer, the solution to increasing coolant lifetime economically. This exclusive professionally engineered molded frame comes with a 12" wheel and is easily converted to 18" wheel and/or high temperature application wheel.
Tramp oils seal the surface of the coolant in sump against air, providing an ideal growth environment for the microorganisms. The Universal Wheel Skimmer removes these oils automatically, reliably and economically. It will not only prolong coolant life by eliminating tramp oils but will also cut maintenance and machine downtime.
The Rustlick Universal Wheel Skimmer not only has a smaller foot print than conventional wheel skimmer making it easier to fit in most sump but it also has an exclusive bi-directional tramp oil drains as well as a chemical resistant frame and wheel. The Rustlick Universal Wheel Skimmer comes pre-assembled with a 12" wheel making it easier to install than conventional skimmer.
