Automated Blasting Systems Announces the SS-10 Manual Wet Blast System



Designed for economy, ecology and efficiency

To meet the needs of cleaning, finishing, descaling, and deburring, the SS-10 does it all in an ecologically friendly manner. Using a solution of media, water, and compressed air, the scrubbing action develops to clean and deburr without the use of chemicals or solvents making this process safe for the workers and the environment.

The SS-10 features a 60 x 70 x 96 in. fiberglass cabinet with a 50 x 50 in. door opening. The load end provides a 68 X 65 in. area for parking the 49 in. trolley-mounted turntable for easy loading or unloading of parts.

The Media Collector connects to slurry pump for removal of the solid media particles from the liquid for disposal or changeover and the slurry delivery system consists of a 2 speed abrasive pump, polyurethane lined, blast gun with a ½ in. boron carbide nozzle and 17/64 in. air jet, mounting fixture and hoses.

Options include a recirculating rinse system and a horizontal swing arm blast gun oscillator, roof mounted, mechanical design, with 4 additional blast guns.
