Westfalia Technologies Chosen for Stahlman Group's WhiteWave Foods New Pallet Flow System

YORK, Pa., January 31, 2007 - Westfalia Technologies (www.westfaliausa.com) of York, PA has been awarded a contract by the Stahlman Group's WhiteWave Foods Company of Bridgeton, NJ for a DeepLane(TM) Push-Back Pallet Flow System with Selective Rack Storage.

The DeepLane(TM) Flow-Through System will store 6,144 (48" L x 40" W x 56" H) pallets in live first-in, first-out (FIFO) storage, providing 256 faces, while the Push-Back System will store 816 (48" L x 40" W x 56" H) pallets in live last-in, first-out (LIFO) storage, providing 272 faces. The Push-Back Frames are also extended to allow a future fifth level of storage and include Double-Wide Rack Bays (99" on center). The new selective system includes 280 pallets of storage. Also included in the pallet flow systems are Series 1001 Centrifugal Speed Controllers (BRAKES), Series 2300 Pallet Flow Entry Guides, and Heavy-duty Pallet Ramp Stops.
