Western Digital to Showcase Newest Storage Solutions at Gitex KSA 2007
Western Digital (WD) Corporation, a leading global hard drive manufacturer, has announced that it will be exhibiting its latest storage solutions, including the recently-launched My Book(TM) World Edition (TM) family, during Gitex KSA 2007. The company will exhibit in association with its distribution partners Nahil & Redington at stand S-48, shoppers hall, during the event being held at Riyadh Exhibition Centre from April 15-19, 2007.
The high profile exhibit will feature the popular My Book(TM) World Edition(TM) family of shared storage appliances that enable users to securely access their personal digital content, such as music, photo's or documents, from any source in the world as if it were stored locally. The terabyte (TB) model is equipped with a dual-drive configuration and RAID capability, which eliminates the necessity of physical proximity to the content and enables the user to access information without having to upload it onto a third-party web site.
The solution is based on WD's new Anywhere Access(TM) software that simplifies access to digital content and is equipped with innovative functions, a three year warranty and compatibility with both wired and wireless networks.

The product is also equipped with a fast 5,400 RPM hard drive, a USB 2.0 interface and data protection with 128-bit encryption.
In addition to the My Book(TM) World Edition(TM) and WD Passport Portable Drives, a full portfolio of products will be displayed at the stand, which will also feature presentations, information and demonstrations.
