Welds Made Bright and Shiny

When welding Stainless Steels, Nickel Alloys and Titanium, it is possible now to keep the welds clean while welding, quite inexpensively.

By adding a lightweight component called a 'Trailing Shield' to a GTAW or PAW welding torch the weld stays under a protective Argon Gas shroud while the hot material is cooling, so that the welded joint and the material to the side of the joint doesn't oxidize on contact with air.

Trailing Shields are available for flat sheet or plate welding and they are also manufactured for radius requirements to suit any diameter of Pipe, Vessel or Tank etc.
Replaceable silicon rubber seals are used on the sides of the Trailing Shields to prevent the shield gas from escaping.

Each Shield is delivered with variable diameter connector so that it can fit any size of GTAW or PAW weld torch whether for manual or mechanized welding.
