St. Louis - August 1, 2002 - Thermal Arc TR S-6 copper-coated wire welds through mill scale, rust and dirt.
With its high levels of manganese and silicon, TR S-6 is ideal for such heavy-duty applications as sheet metal work, construction and agricultural equipment fabrication and repair, tanks and pipe work, and automotive and truck body work. This mild steel wire is designed for GMAW welding under CO2 or AR/CO2 shielding gases.
Thermal Arc TR S-6 welding wire contains a higher level of deoxidizers than competing brands, and produces a lower spatter level which minimizes post-weld clean up. It is available in diameters ranging from .024 to .045.
