Stoody CP-2000 has hardness HRC of 58-64, and is suitable for hot-wear applications up to 900 deg F. Model with 7/64 in. dia has 400 to 650 amperage range and voltage range of 28 to 32. Model with 1/8 in. dia wire has 450 to 650 amperage range and voltage range of 29 to 32. Neither requires any shielding gas.

Stoody® CP2000 open arc welding wire is optimized to produce superior weldability for a wide range of both single and double layer applications.
CP2000 is a specially formulated chromium carbide alloy, designed to produce a high concentration of primary carbides in order to greatly improve wear resistance and durability. It can be applied to carbon, low alloy and manganese steels, and can even be applied to cast irons in applications such as coal pulverizer rebuilding. Additional applications include ID pipe and elbow cladding, hardface plate cladding, gyratory mantles, and multiple layer hardface build up.
Stoody CP-2000 has a hardness HRC of 58-64, and is suitable for hot wear applications of up to 900 deg Fahrenheit. It is available in two sizes; the 7/64" (2.8mm) diameter wire has an amperage range of 400-650, and a voltage range of 28-32, and the 1/8" (3.2mm) diameter wire has an amperage range of 450-650 and voltage range of 29-32. Neither requires any shielding gas.
