Weldcraft's SF-225 Modular Flex Head Torch Package Increases Flexibility on Water Cooled TIG Applications

BURBANK, Calif., 21 September 2005-To increase flexibility on all-position TIG welding applications, while also minimizing the need for additional torches, Weldcraft introduces its SF-225 Modular Flex Head Torch Package. Designed primarily for shop use on water-cooled operations, the SF-225 allows welding operators to customize a single torch into multiple configurations for welding various applications and angles. Standard with WP-9 and WP-17 series 70-degree heads (9-70 and 1726), power cable, water and gas hoses and handle, the SF-225 can be configured into seven different torch styles. Optional torch heads include the 9-90, 9P, 24, 1726P and 24-90.
Increased Flexibility, Reduced Costs
The SF-225 Modular Flex Head allows welding operators the flexibility to work on a wide range of TIG applications in the shop without the cost or downtime of purchasing and/or changing multiple torches for different applications. Because the SF-225 replaces an existing water-cooled torch, welding operators can continue to achieve high amperage performance with less concern of torch overheating. This reduction in overheating helps extend parts life and reduce costs associated with consumable changeover.

It's easier for those demanding applications when you don't know what you'll be welding each day.
