Plastic Welding Pen Features Combination Speed and Tacking Tip



A new, lightweight and powerful plastic welding pen for fabricating or repairing plastic tanks, ventilation systems, and related products is being introduced by Malcom Hot Air Systems of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.

Malcom's Leister Welding Pen "S" features a protected heating element for operator safety, dial adjustable temperatures from 68°F to 1100°F, and a combination speed welding and swing-back tacking tip that screws on. Lightweight with a slim handle, this 600 Watt welding pen can be held at any angle for all types of thermoplastic fabrication and repairs.

Powered by 120 VAC and compressed air from a shop line or blower, Malcom's Leister Welding Pen "S" is available with a 9- or 30 ft. integrated power cable and air hose. The 9 ft. version weighs only 2.3 lbs. and a digital display model that shows set and actual temperatures is also offered.
