Lincoln's New Innershield® NR-233 is Designed for Out-of Position Applications Demanding High Deposition Rates

Cleveland, OH -- The new Innershield NR-233 advanced technology self-shielded flux-cored wire electrode (AWS E71T-8) from The Lincoln Electric Company is specifically designed for high deposition rate welding for significant welding throughput - even when out-of-position. Typical applications include seismic or general structural steel erection, ship and barge fabrication, and vertical up or overhead groove and fillet welds.

NR-233 incorporates Lincoln's proprietary microflux(TM) technology, a flux-fill solution that delivers outstanding 'state-of-the-arc' welding performance. Benefits of this highly engineered flux-fill manufacturing process include:

o Charpy V-notch properties that meet many of the more stringent code requirements and specifications.
o Minimized gas marking, even after the electrode has been exposed to the atmosphere.
o Excellent operating characteristics and penetration, making it more forgiving for less skilled operators. This welder-friendly electrode makes it easier to pass tough qualification tests and deposit great looking beads.

NR-233 is available in 1/16" electrode diameter, wound on both 12.5 lb. and 25 lb. spools.

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of arc welding equipment and consumables, robotic welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
