Lincoln Electric Offers New Deutz® Engine on its Vantage® 300 Welder/Generator

Professionals Now Have Engine Brand Choice on Popular Welder/Generator

Cleveland - Lincoln Electric gives construction teams, pipe rig owners, rental fleet managers an additional engine choice for the company's popular Vantage® 300 welder/generator. Now, buyers can choose between the new Deutz® or existing Kubota® diesel engines.

The newest Vantage 300 features the reliable Deutz D2008L4 four-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine. This 1.6 liter engine runs at 1800 rpm and is rated at 24 HP. That's enough power to deliver a rated DC welding output of 300 amps at 32 volts, 100% duty cycle (400 amp max). In addition, the Vantage 300 Deutz generates 12.5 kW peak (11 kW continuous) of three-phase 240V AC auxiliary power and 11.5 kW peak (10 kW continuous) of single-phase AC auxiliary power for grinders and other common construction tools. With a 15 gallon engine fuel tank on the Deutz, the Vantage 300 can run all day.

The Vantage 300 Deutz is housed in a compact, stainless steel enclosure for added environmental corrosion resistance. All Vantage models feature Lincoln Chopper Technology® to deliver great arc starts and smooth arc performance for stick, TIG or wire welding.

Lincoln Vantage engine-driven construction welder/generators are designed to deliver strong multi-process welding capability and simple operation. Operators can select one of four process modes - CC-Stick, Downhill Pipe for stick, Touch-Start TIG® or CV-Wire. After the process mode is selected, operators need only dial in the desired current or voltage to get started. The unit is also capable of arc gouging with up to ¼-inch carbons.

A lockable, removable sliding access door provides ample space for engine and oil filter work, providing 55 percent more access than competitive products. A battery drawer on the front of the machine and a top-mounted radiator cover allow convenient access to these systems. A patent-pending tilt-down control panel offers easy servicing of internal components. Easy to use and convenient, the unit delivers top arc performance, a smooth, reliable engine, plenty of auxiliary power, a compact case and tough materials built to last.

The Vantage 300 Deutz is backed by a three-year Lincoln warranty. The Deutz engine is warranted by Deutz for 2 years/2,000 hours for all components, 3 years/3,000 hours for major components.
